Top Private Security Services Nigeria Limited has commended Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board(NCDMB) for empowerment training programnme for one hundred(100) youths in the state. The youths who were drawn from Oil Producing States of the country were trained on make-ups, manicure and pedicure, barbing and lurks, took place on Monday at Top Private Academy in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area Delta State.

In an interview, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama (Rtd) who spoke on behalf of Top Private Security Services Nigeria said,the empowerment training programme is aimed at making the beneficiaries not only to develop and be selves’ employed but employers of labour instead of job seekers.

According Commodore Nesiama,Top Private Security Services Nigeria Limited partnered with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board(NCDMB) to power the youths through training- a step that would go a long way in youths’ gainful employment thereby reducing youths’ restiveness and prevention of other criminal acts in the country. According to him, this training of one hundred persons is to redirect youths’ to be focused and self-reliant.
On his part, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board( NCDMB), Engr. Felix Ogbe said the empowerment training is aimed at equipping the youths with the right entrepreneurial skills. Engr. Ogbe who was represented by Engr Harmony who was in turn represented by the training Manager, Festus Erubore said, the training became necessary to see that the youths are gainfully engaged to take their mind off crimes and criminality and live life worthy of emulation.
In an interview with one of the participants,Police Ekuvierhe who is trained on barbing and lurks, expressed gratitude for the organizers of the training programme. According to him, the knowledge gained in the programme would help him and his family to put food on their table. On his part, a participant who was trained on Make-up, Germany Tejiri thanked the organizers of the training, describing it as an interesting while it lasted.

To Awere Florence Omowumi who was trained on manicure and pedicure said,she has gained a lot from the programme and therefore appreciated the organizations for the programme. The programme which many others described as interesting and educative left joy on the minds of the organizers and participants alike.
