The Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom and Chairman, Body of Benchers of Nigeria, HRM Albert Akpomudje SAN, FCIArb, Eyanvwie-Alaka I has expressed gratitude to the government of Delta State, traditional rulers, Benchers, members of the Bench and Bar and distinguished guests who graced the presentation of his staff of office.
In a statement he personally issued shortly after the ceremony, the revered Monarch said the event was a historic one and significant to the people of Olomu Kingdom. He thanked the Delta State Government for its support and commitment to upholding traditional institutions across the state.
The Royal Father also extended heartfelt appreciation to fellow Monarchs, Benchers, Judges, NBA, GCUOBA, community leaders, political figures, and well-wishers whose presence added prestige and colour to the ceremony.He said, their show of solidarity shows the unity and shared cultural heritage among the people.
Eyanvwie-Alaka acknowledged the efforts of the organizing committee and all those who contributed in way or the other which made the programme a huge success. The reverend Monarch reaffirmed his commitment to peace, development, and cultural preservation of the kingdom just as he promised to work in synergy with the government and other stakeholders to advance the course of Olomu Kingdom and Delta State in particular and the nation at large.
Recall that staff of office was presented to the Ohworode of Olomu recently by the Delta State government which was attended by dignitaries from across Delta State and beyond, marking a new chapter in the leadership of Olomu Kingdom.
