Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Emakpor Odogu has commended the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Prince Johnson Erijo and the entire Isoko South PDP Caucus. He also congratulated the newly elected Chairman of the Isoko South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Victor Ekelega and his cabinet at the just concluded party’s congresses.
While Hon. Odogu commended Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Johnson Erijo over his contributions towards the development ,peace and unity of the party in Isoko nation, he urged the newly elected Party Executive Committee led by Chief Victor Ekelega to work in harmony with Hon. Erijo and the entire Caucus for the party( PDP) to remain stronger in the local government area.
Hon. Odogu, stressed the importance of unity and collective efforts in achieving electoral success and urged Chief Ekelega and his committee to support the Governor by working with Hon. Johnson Erijo and the Council Chairman, Hon. Friday Warri Ovoke in a build up to the elections
His words:”With these new set of tested leaders elected into the party in Isoko South Local Government Area’s Executive Committees, I believe that the party is on the path of irreversible progress. I must thank the leader of the party in the state and our amiable Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for instituting transparency based on equity and fairness due to his pragmatic and progressive ideals geared towards implementation of his the MORE Agenda.”
Hon. Odogu who also hailed the commitment of the Leadership of Isoko South PDP Caucus on the itch free congresses said: “It marks a new chapter of PDP in Isoko South with a focus on unity, reconciliation and strategic planning to enhance the party’s prospects in future elections”. He praised the Congress’ success adding that, it is an indication of focused driven leadership, Party’s unity and commitment in the support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.
Odogu acknowledged the leaders and stakeholders of the Party for their various roles they played towards the emergence of the newly-elected executive members of the party in the local government areas, assuring that, the interests of everyone would be accommodated and protected.
