IWM Rachael Misan-Ruppee PhD delivering her address

It was a gathering of who and who in Nigeria today, Saturday,at Blossom Place, opposite Yonwuren College, Ugbuwangue, Warri, in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State as IWM Rachael Misan-Ruppee Ph.D was inducted as the 8th President, Inner Wheel Club of Warri Metropolitan District 916, Nigeria, an enviable a non- governmental organization in Nigeria and abroad.
In her acceptance speech after the official handover of mantle of leadership by the outgoing President of the club, IWM Apata Juliet, IWM Misan Ruppee said, she was determined to serve the organization with the same spirit of commitments of the predecessors.

According to her,the theme of this year being:”The Heartbeat of Humanity”, speaks volumes of the organization,which is rooted on compassion,unity and shared commitment to make the world a better place. She said, the heart of humanity lies the collective ability to care, connect and to uplift one another.

Her words:” l accept with great honour of being inducted as the 8th President of this incredible organization. To be entrusted with leading such a passionate and dedicated group of women fills me with immense pride and l pledge to serve with the same dedication and commitment that has marked the leadership of my predecessors”.
According to her, the organization’s guiding principle this year is to reach and inspire for a better world adding that, this is a call for action, a promise the members made for themselves and to the commitment they serve .She said, to reach others is to extend a hand of understanding, empathy and support. and build bridges across divides whether cultural, economical or social to align with Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
IWM Misan Ruppee who expressed gratitude for God for the honour done her with the position, sought the co-operation of her executive to enable her achieve her mandate.

Her words:”As l step into this role, l am reminded that the strength of any leader lies in the support of those around him or her.l know that with your encouragement, guidance and collective energy, we will make this a year of tremendous impact. Together, we will continue to break down barriers, foster understanding and empower others to reach their fullest potentials”.
The newly inducted President said, this year’s programme include: scholarship for orphans and indigent students which amounts N1,500,000.00, vocational skills development training with starter packs for the vulnerable women, girls and persons with disabilities which amounts N2,000,000.00,cervical cancer screening and awareness creation which amounts N1,000,000.00 environmental, water, sanitation and hygiene outreaches to primary and secondary schools to N500,000.00 and the total amount is N5000,000.00.

She therefore appealed to every well meaning Nigerian home and abroad to support financially in order to achieve these projects in 2024/2025 year of the The Heartbeat of Humanity.

Earlier in her address, the outgoing President, IWM Apata Juliet promised of immense help to the newly inducted President to succeed in her tenure as President of the club.
