A prominent Niger Delta organisation and Social Justice advocate, the Ijaw People’s Rights Crusaders Group (IPRICUG), Warri Urban, has strongly advocated for the support and protection of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL). The group emphasised that TSSNL has consistently demonstrated its professional expertise in safeguarding Nigeria’s oil infrastructure against vandalism and illegal bunkering syndicates.
In a recent statement jointly signed by the group’s Chairman, Comrade Godspower Puluwei Ebiyai, and Secretary, Mr. Ebi Kodokodo Fesougha, made available to journalists in Warri on Wednesday, July 9, IPRICUG commended TSSNL for its technical expertise and commitment to professional excellence.
It further praised the company for proving its capability in protecting the country’s oil pipeline infrastructure which had severally been vandalised in the past years resulting in billions of dollars loses in revenue, with attendant severe crippling of the Nigerian economy and incremental drops in OPEC production quotas. IPRICUG noted that Tantita’s role in reducing oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and illegal refining in the Niger Delta is unprecedented, leading to a significant boost in oil production and economic stability in recent years.

Continuing, IPRICUG highly extalled the innovative Acumen of TSSNL’s Chairman, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo (popularly known as Tompolo), describing his leadership prowess as exceptional and a rare blessing to the Ijaw nation, Delta State, and Nigeria as a whole.
The group also lauded Tompolo’s widespread philanthropy, which has greatly supported vulnerable individuals, including indigent women, jobless youth, and people with disabilities (PWDs). The group warned critics to stop spreading politically motivated smear campaigns designed to ruin Tompolo’s rising reputation and sabotage Tantita’s fight against crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism, cautioning detractors to maintain their distance from Tompolo.
IPRICUG unequivocally declared that it would vigorously defend Tompolo’s soaring fame and integrity and support TSSNL’s management in delivering quality services that benefit the nation. The group said, “The professional capacity and topnotch expertise TSSNL brings to bear on its operations underscores the dept of its efficiency as an indigenous company.”
IPRICUG extended its protective shield to other illustrious sons and daughters of Ijaw nation who are blazing the trail in various fields of endeavour, including High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita; Engr. Matthew Tonlagha, Chairman, Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited; and Chief (Dr.) Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP); Dr. Paul Bebenimibo; Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro and others.
