A candidate on the platform of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Hon. Whisky E. Ewubareh has lauded the victory of the Governor Elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in the just concluded Governorship election just as he urged Deltans who may have been aggrieved in one way or the other to forget the past and join hands with the Governor- elect to move the state forward.
Ewubareh stated this over the weekend in a chat with newsmen in Warri. He said, he was not surprised at the success of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) during the election saying, the exercise was a victory that was well deserved. He said:” I was not surprised at the victory of PDP in the entire process, it is a victory well deserved”
Ewubareh , a tested and trusted politician, urged the losers in the just concluded election to put the past behind them and work in unity for a better Delta State.
He said:” The people of the state should come together and work in harmony with the Governor-elect and the lawmaker in their quest to usher in a most prosperous democratic system in the state”
Speaking further, Ewubareh said, PDP has done marvelous things in the state since 1999 the present political dispensation started, saying, Deltans should continue to support the PDP- led government.
He said, Hon. Onwo as a hard working man who is ever ready to develop his constituency by bringing the dividends of democracy to the doorstep of his constituents.
He said: “It is on record that both the Governor-elect and the Law-maker- elect will excel in their various capacities. Both are no doubt, tested politicians of repute and the entire people of the state are at present rejoicing over their land slide victory”.
It would be recalled that Ewubareh later joined hands with Hon. Mike Diden, Alias Ejele who contested the Delta South Senatorial District seat under the platform of PDP, also lauded the land slide victory of Hon. Ferguson Onwo, who contested to represent Isoko South II constituency at the state House of Assembly.
