The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Orogun Ward 2, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Gabriel Orogun and the Secretary of the Ward, Mr .Tony Nkwo over the weekend sympathised with the family of APC members and the Delta State Gubernatorial candidate of APC, Senator (Barr.), Ovie Omo-Agege over the recent boat mishap that claimed the lives of two, leaving some injured while others, receiving treatment in hospital.
In a press statement signed by the Ward’s Chairman, Chief Gabriel Orogun and its Secretary Mr. Tony Nkwo, made available to newsmen, described the incident as a huge loss not only to the family of APC but also to the entire people of Delta State.

Part of the statement reads: “We express our deep condolences over this great loss of the committed members of APC who left their home with the hope of returning to meet their love ones”
Chief Orogun and Mr. Nkwo therefore, commiserate with APC Guber candidate, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, and the APC family in Okerenkoko and the Delta State at large including the families of those that lost their love ones during the incident that occurred while coming back from APC rally in Okerenkoko in Warri South West LGA.
They prayed God to grant the departed souls eternal peace just as they prayed God to give APC Delta State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Part of the statement reads “We pray God to grant these departed souls eternal peace and give APC Delta State the strength and mind to bear the irreparable loss as the life and blood of every Deltan matters to us”.
