According to him, there is need to have the right leadership that would continue with the transformational legacy of the Governor Okowa.
He said:” Going by your legislative antecedents as one of the longest-serving Speakers in State House of Assembly in recent past and the first Speaker to be an elected Governor of Delta State, you left no one in doubt that you are destined and pragmatically prepared for leadership”.
He said, he has no doubt that with the support of Deltans, Governor Oborevwori’s administration would be a new dawn of economic prosperity, rapid infrastructural development, industrialization and peaceful co-existence among the various ethnic and religious groups across the state.
He said:” I urged the civil society community, religious leaders, traditional rulers and other critical stakeholders of the political process in the state to play their roles through constructive engagement, positive criticism and agenda setting in order to move the State forward”.
