As 2027 General Elections draw near, Federal Constituency Forum (EFCF), a political pressure group, has inaugurated its Executive body.The body which was inaugurated under the auspices of All Progressive Congress is headed by Chief (Dr.) Ighoyota Amori.
Speaking at meeting of the body which was held at residence of Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), RT. Hon. (Barr.), Arthur Akpowowo in Eku, in Ethiope East LGA, Chief Akpowowo said the forum is meant to re-strategize and ensured that President Bola Tinubu and the Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori return to office come 2027.
His words: “This meeting is called today by the elders and leaders of the Ethiope Federal Constituency Forum to formally inaugurate the LGA, Executive members of the Forum to work with other stakeholders so as to win the future elections.” “After your inauguration today, in order to achieve the desired result at the end, you have to be transparent in your dealings at all times”, the law maker added.
While inaugurating the Executive members who are 60 which cut across the two local government areas, that make up Ethiope Federal Constituency, the National Chairman of the forum, Chief (Sen) Dr. Ighoyota Amori charged them to work with one another for the growth of the forum.
His words: “Your inauguration today as the executive members of the forum is a called to serve, you have to work for the growth of the forum which is to ensure Ethiope Federal wins the next elections. “You are also to go your various wards and units to canvass for new members to join hands to move APC forward in Ethiope Federal Constituency, Chief Amori added.
In their separate speeches, the Director of Protocol to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Chief Sunday Onoriode, former member of Ethiope Federal constituency Rt. Hon.Halims Agoda, the Executive Chairman, Ethiope East, Hon. Usenefe Ogedegbe, Chief Bernard Edewor, among other leaders, commended the Chief host, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo for the turn up for the meeting and calling on the inaugurated members to work for the actualisation of the forum which its main aims is to win election come 2027.
On their part, the Chairman of the forum in Ethiope East, Hon. Midwest Iboyitete and other Executive members, assured the leaders and elders of the forum that they would not betray the confidence reposed on them. Present at the meeting were the Executive Chairman of Ethiope West LGA, Chief Christ Onogba, Chief Godwin Ogbetou, Chief (Barr.) Dr. Omovien, Dr. Benson Edoja, Chief Sunday Umunade, Hon. Abel Okuse, and other leaders of the forum.
