According to him, while the body is not holding brief for the Delta State Governor-Elect,Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori or the much Revered Olori, Her Highness Olori Atuwatse III, the body wishes to state that she is non-partisan, especially with her position as the Olori of Warri Kingdom.

According to him, the body believes that the Governor- Elect saw Her Highness Olori Atuwatse III’s sterling qualities and capacity hence saw it as an honour to have listed her as a member of the Transition Committee saying, this is perhaps with the sole aim that this will see her make useful contributions on area of quality education in the state education curriculum when the Governor- Elect assumes office.
He said: “The engagement of Her Highness Olori Atuwatse III in areas of qualitative education worldwide is in line with the vision of His Imperial Majesty Ogiame ATUWATSE III, CFR (as captured in his speech on his ascension to the throne) that during his reign “our Women will no longer be invisible”.
Hon. Sunny said the body strongly believes that the decision to accept the nomination into the Committee or not solely lies on Her Highness Olori Atuwatse III in this regard.
