All is now set for Okotie-Eboh Grammar School Old Boys Association (OGSOBA), Sapele, Delta State to celebrate its 70th years anniversary. The programme which is slated for three days would begin on Friday, November 17 and be rounded off on Sunday , November 19, 2023,(this year).
In a statement signed by Okpomor Victor, National Secretary, Precious Omene, National Public Relations Officer and Elder Rangers Mene, Chairman, 70th Years Anniversary Celebration Organising Committee, said, the three day programme would commence with the arrival of Old Boys from across the country and beyond and then, a novelty match between Old Boys of the school and Old Boys of a sister school in the school compound to round off Day1.
The statement added that in Day 2 of the programme, which is Saturday, November 18, 2023, there would be a lot of activities as there would be interaction of dignitaries from across the country with the students, cultural displays, a keynote address by the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, a Gala nite where awards would be given to outstanding Old Boys, and of course, the launch for Association’s Legacy Project: Computer Based Test(CBT) Centre for the students.
The statement further said, on Day 3, which is Sunday, November 19, 2023, there would be a thanks- giving service by Old Boys along with their families and friends at Dominion Baptist Church, close to Ziks Grammar School, Sapele.
