As the agitation for the creation of more states in different parts of the country to satisfy the yearnings of the people as regards development sweeps across the nation, Evang. Dr Austin Ofomana, the Delta Central Senatorial District under the platform of Labour Party come 2027, has said, he is very much behind the creation of Ethiope State.
Evang Dr. Ofomana made this known when he visited Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area where he had a close door meeting with some committed Chiefs from different local governments areas that form Delta Central Senatorial District. The Senator in-waiting who was accompanied by his Executive Assistant, Mr Praise Omoemu also used the opportunity to further re-echoed his Delta Central Senatorial District ambition where he had overwhelming supports of all the Chiefs for his Delta Central Senatorial District ambition.
They(Chiefs) pledged their support and prayed for the actualisation of his Delta Central Senatorial District ambition come 2027 only by the grace, power and mercy of God Almighty. Evang Dr Ofomana thanked the Leaders and Chiefs who are from different local government areas in Delta Central Senatorial District: Ethiope East, Ethiope West and other local government areas. They include: Chief Pius Oghoghorie, Chief Paul Efekpokpo, Mr Felix Omohwovo, Mr Albert Onorhivwe, Chief Friday Ehrieyovwe and Mr. Ejiro Akpofo.

Dr Austin Ofomana had earlier visited many people on consultation ground to express his intentions to become Senator, Delta Central Senatorial District, come 2027 by the special grace of God.
