A representative of Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, Patriarch Christ Shepherd, CPCS Ogar Osim, Managing Director StarCross Television and Head of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star event Management said, the myriad challenges facing Nigeria would be a thing of the past if Nigerians are humble enough to recognize their Spiritual Leader, Lord Olumba Olumba Obu as saviour of mankind.
The most Senior Cleric stated on the occasion of the International Divine Vanguard Evangelical retreat to Delta State which was held on Saturday at organization’s premises: Mbaise Close Road by Pecan Hotels, Enerhen Police Station. According to him, the power which resides with their Spiritual Leader, Lord Olumba Olumba Obu who God has ordained on earth can be equated with that the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ adding if Nigerians recognize his presence, the Nigerians’ myriad challenges would be over.
The Cleric who illustrated his points with Lord Jesus Christ while with his disciples in the sea that was troubled by wind and cried for assistance before Jesus Christ calmed the wind, said, the solutions to the challenges of Nigeria does not lie on President Bola Tinubu, neither on any Governor of the state but with the Lord, Olumba Olumba Obu. His words:” Today, Nigerians are suffering in midst of abundant natural resources because the country is blessed and they are calling on the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to provide solution. Nobody can provide solution except the man who God has ordained on earth to save mankind, and that is our Lord, Olumba Olumba Obu.”
The Cleric said, many tend to underrate the spiritual powers that God Almighty has endowed Lord Olumba Olumba Obu with, hence, use all languages in an attempt to ridicule Him, adding, it is those who are yet to experience His powers that do so. According to him, those who worship and believe in Him, have seen the manifestation of His powers. His words:” Our Lord Olumba Olumba Obu is an all forgiving Lord, with all words used against Him in attempt to ridicule Him, He still forgives them for they not know what they do.”
He said, the organization believes in the principles of Trinity: God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit as it does not belong to any Pentecostal or orthodox churches as it has grown beyond that level, saying, that they, the worshippers, do not bear such titles such as General Overseers, or other titles which are associated with the modern day churches in Nigeria and elsewhere.
His words:” The organization’s worship is deeply rooted in the principles of Trinity: God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and we work accordingly. Anybody who doubts the power of our Lord Olumba Olumba Obu has not tasted of His powers.” On why they don’t eat meat which forms part of the ridicule of the organization, the Cleric said, animals are synonymous with humans as they have life adding that, just as God created man, so, it has done to animals adding that, it is scriptural not kill and spill blood so animals should not be killed as well, not even mosquitoes. According to the Cleric, many have wondered why they wear white garment to the place of worship. He said, the organization chose to wear white garment as it symbolizes purity. According to him, many religious organizations that wish to emulate them, find it difficult to maintain the white as theirs stand the test of time.

He said, through the instrumentality of the Lord Olumba Olumba Obu, the organization has spread far and wide in different countries of the world as God Almighty has used the Lord Olumba Olumba Obu to make this attainable just as he said, the organization has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. His words :” We worship in this organization not because we have no food to eat, many of us are not doing badly economically and otherwise but due to the miracle we have experienced through our Lord Olumba Olumba Obu, hence we continue to accord him His place.”
While calling on Nigerians and world over, not misconstrue the organization’s to be Brotherhood of Cross or Brotherhood of Star, as those ones are not the same with theirs which is distinct with the name:” Brotherhood of the Cross and Star”, adding, all branches of the organization have the same doctrines. According to him, any organization which portends to bear similar name but has different way of worship or doctrines is not the same organization as theirs.
The Cleric used the medium to express gratitude to Deltans and Nigerians for their cooperation while they were on evangelical mission for the past days. According to him, Deltans are lovely, caring and understanding as all the places they preached the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ both in Warri and its environs, they were received with benevolence and charged them to continue to give their support for the organization to make it grow and promote the kingdom of God Almighty.
The Cleric also used the opportunity to invite the generality of the public for the celebration of 25 years anniversary of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star which would be held on 13th to 19th April, 2026 at BCS World Headquarters, 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, Cross River State with the theme:” Celebrating The Glory And Power Of The Supreme Trinity”.
