The Peoples Democratic Party’s Chairmen and Executive of the wards in Isoko South Local Government Area have been Inaugurated with the mandate to pilot the affairs of the party at the grass root level. The Chairmen inaugurated were Mr Afeme Samson, Irri Ward 11, Hon. Favour Ugbosu, Ward 09, Hon Henry Aghogho Oleh Ward 1 among others.
In his speech during the inauguration ,the Chairman of the party, Hon. Ekelegha, charged them to collaborate with leaders in their respective wards in all plans to better the people so as to maintain the existing peace and unity in the party.
While administering the oath of office and conducts on the wards executive Committee, Mr Ekelegha charged them to be good ambassadors of the party and MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori adding that, they should shun any form of anti-party activities. According to him, he would roll out his action plans for the party’s executives to work in line with the Governor Oborevwori’s administration’s More Agenda anchored on the party’s structure.
On his part, the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Community Development, Hon. Emakpo Odogu charged the newly Inaugurated Committee to be proactive adding that , they should always work in line with the Oborevwori’s administration of MORE Agenda. His words:” l can assure you of my support at all times. All you need do is to be proactive and work in line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration of More Agenda in the state”.
In their separate responses, Hon. David Ezede, Ward 4, Mr Kenneth Egbobo, Emede Ward 5, Hon. Eto Enahoro, Oleh Ward 2 and other Wards’ Chairmen expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the peaceful and enabling atmosphere with which the Inauguration was done.
They assured the Chairman and the entire party leaders of their commitment to always work in line with the Governor Oborevwori led administration’s More Agenda. Present at the inauguration ceremony were Barrister Afor Irogbor, Barrister A. Duncan, all the councilors and supervisory councilors in Isoko South Local Government Council, among others.
