All roads lead to Mano Hotel and Suites, Oleh, the Headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday, October 4, 2025 as Isoko Mirror Newspaper celebrates its 20th Anniversary. The event which is billed to kick off at about 11: 00 am will feature a book launch and the conferment of excellent awards to distinguished individuals and it would be chaired by Elder Napoleon Akpughe.
In an official letter issued by Dr. Felida Osede Essi, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Isoko Mirror Newspaper, these individuals are to be honored based on their services and contributions to humanity.
Part of the letter reads: “Your nomination is as a result of your dedication, commitment and immense contributions to the development of human capacity, especially your philanthropic gestures towards the needy and indigent persons across board.” According to the official letter, the ceremony which its Special Guest of Honour, the Chairman of Isoko North, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, would feature a lecture by Prof. U. B. Okpevra while the book would be reviewed by Dr. Isaac Ejebe.
According to the official letter, the 20th anniversary celebration would be a memorable one as it aimed at capturing the newspaper’s roles as regards its dedication to community journalism, societal development, and excellence in media practice.
