The President of Students Union Government (SUG) of Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Delta State Comrade Engr. Comr. Edemakiota Etiosa Oghenemaro (B.Eng, Electrical Engineering) has finally signed out of the Ivory Tower in a grandstyle. This was made known in a press statement signed by Comrade Engr. Oghenemaro and made available to newsmen. According to him, while he served the body in this capacity, he and his executive were able to put smiles on the faces of the student community by embarking on projects in the school to the benefit the students. According to the statement, he has been able to redefine leadership of SUG on campus.

Part of the statement reads:” Today, a legend signs out FUPRE! Not just a graduate… but a record-breaking SUG President who changed the game, raised the standard, and redefined what student leadership should look like”. According to the statement, when he assumed office with his executive members some time ago, with his manifesto, students thought they would not be able to keep to his electioneering promises but today, with his achievements, it has become obvious for all to see.

Part of the statement reads: “They called it impossible — we made it History. They said it couldn’t be done — we did it differently. And today, the blueprint has been set for generations to follow”. According to statement, the SUG President of FUPRE a.k.a The Aluta Innovation along with his executive was able to rewrite the purpose of SUG, deliver solid, lasting, student-centered projects, built systems, not just structures but restored respect, value and pride to the Union.

The statement further said those students who were not there under his tenure must have missed revolution. In the statement, Comrade Oghenemaro let the parents, his families in particular and the society at large know that he did not just pass through FUPRE but left indelible mark behind just as he expressed gratitude to God Almighty who made his graduation successful and his achievements as FUPRE SUG President possible. Part of the statement reads:” Dear parents, families, and society, I didn’t just pass through FUPRE — I left footprints. I played my part as your child and as a leader. Dear God, from the lowest point to this moment of grace…Na Your Hand I put the rest”.
