The Deputy State Chairman, Engine Lubricant Dealers Branch of NUPENG Delta State, Chief Dennis Okiemute Eneberi said that he is sure that the newly appointed Rector, Federal Polytechnic Orogun,in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state, Dr. Duke Okoro would be able to build a solid academic and moral base for federal polytechnic as he would put his wealth of experience and skills to bear in this direction. Eneberi stated this when speaking with our Correspondent on Wednesday in Warri.
Eneberi who also congratulated the Rector, Dr. Duke Okoro on his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari said, he is a Community Leader in Erhioke Community,Kokori Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state saying, having gone through the profile of Dr. Duke Okoro, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, he of the assurance that he will use his wealth of experience and knowledge to build solid academic and moral foundation for the school to be one of the enviable institutions in the federation and urged him to do in this direction.
He said:” I am a Community Leader in Erhioke Community, Kokori, Ethiope East Local Government of Delta State. Having read the profile of Dr. Duke Okoro, Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, I urge him to use his wealth of experience and knowledge to build a solid academic and moral foundation for the polytechnic.”
Eneberi therefore used this medium to commend President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly for the honour bestowed on Delta State, in general and Ughelli North Local Government and Orogun people in particular with the establishment of Federal Polytechnic in Orogun.
According to him, President Buhari has done well for appointing the Rector and other senior management staff of the institution saying, with this, it shows that he (Mr President Mohammadu Buhari) wants the newly established federal polytechnic in Orogun to kick off and be of good standing before he leaves office.
The Unionist also commended the Depute Senate President and Delta State 2023 Governorship Candidate on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo- Agege for being able to request for the school and followed up and it came a reality.
He said:” Let me also commend our superlative Senator and Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege who deemed it fit to request for the School and followed up all the processes which led to passing of bill by the Green and the Red Chambers of the National Assembly and subsequently the assent to the bill by President Muhammadu Bubari.
Eneberi said that Omo-Agege’s achievements as Senator Representing Delta Central, are quite commendable, adding that God’s willing, if Omo-Agege becomes the next Governor of Delta State, he will touch all parts of the state in terms of human and capital development which will fast track the growth and development of the state.
