As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, Nigerians have been admonished to embrace peace and ensure religious harmony for the unity and growth of the country.
The appeal was made on Wednesday by Chief Francis Inegbeniki, State Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC ) Edo Central Senatorial district, Edo State.
In a statement obtained in Warri, Inegbeniki congratulated Nigeria Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging them to pray for peace and unity in Nigeria.
He also urged the Muslims to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for God to give them wisdom and guide them to work for the development of the country.
Inegbeniki called on Nigerians irrespective of religious and political affiliations to support the administration of President Tinubu because he has shown clearly his capacity, determination and readiness to deliver on his campaign promises of ” Renewed Hope” for all Nigerians.
