The General Overseer, Word Of Life Bible Church, Ajamimogha, Warri, in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor has admonished Christians all over the world especially Nigerians not to be Self-Centered in their prayers as whatever requests they made from God, they should include Him for such prayers to be manifested. Papa Oritsejafor stated this when speaking at Life Transforming Word Ministry, Jakpa Road Effurun on Sunday at the dedication ceremony of baby Tamuno- Noah Joseph who arrived this world through Pastor Haggai .E. and Pastor (Mrs) Joy Eyiki after 17 years of their marriage.
According to Papa Oritsejafor, it is when Christians pray inclusive of God Almighty that their requests can be answered quickly. He equally said in every prayer request, the person must be patient enough for God to answer such prayers. His words:” Those who wait upon the Lord for any prayer request made to Him should wait with understanding”

According to him, everybody must learn to pray in spirit, as the Spirit knows what one needs and whatever one asks from God, must be of benefit to Him to grant that request. His words: “Everything should not me, and me let alone, find a place of God in such prayers”. Papa Oritsejafor expressed gratitude to God Almighty to have granted the request of the Pastor Haggai and Pastor (Mrs) Joy Eyiki who got a baby boy after 17 years of waiting upon the Lord just as he prayed for those facing similar challenges to wait upon the Lord as He would grant their requests.
Earlier in his interview, the father of the miraculous baby Pastor Haggai Eyiki said, it was not easy for the 17 years of waiting for the arrival of the baby to the family. According to him, many of the family members and friends persuaded them at different times to go aside God Almighty to find solutions to the challenges of childlessness but by the grace of God, they stood firm as they know that God is capable of doing what He has said He would do. His words:” The journey of waiting for Child’s bearing is a thing that you cannot even wish your enemy. If you are not patient enough, you can’t wait. But because you know very well, you can’t do it yourself, you have to wait upon the Lord”.

According to him, since one doesn’t know when God would answer one’s prayers, one must be patient and anchor on the mercy of God Almighty as mercy neutralizes both the known and unknown sins. He therefore advised Christians to anchor on God with prayers in their requests just as he prayed for those who are waiting upon the God for the fruits of the womb and other needs of life to have breakthrough.
Earlier in his message titled: “God Would Finish What He Started“, The Guest Speaker, Rev. Emeleye Emmanuel said, God does not abandon any project He has started. According to him, whoever seeks God’s face diligently over one thing or the other, He would always hear his or her prayers adding that, the God who made it possible for the couple to get married, though they stayed for 17 years, it is the same God that gave them the son as God manifested His powers at the end. The Cleric who quoted many Holy Scriptures including Philippians 1:6 ,among others to buttress his sermon, said with God all things are possible.
