Ahead of 2027 general elections, Delta Central Senatorial District aspirant under the platform of Labour Party, Evang Dr. Austin Ofomana has continued to get support from stakeholders of the party as he and his team continue their consultation visit to who is who in the party.
The Senator-in-waiting along his consultation team led by Mr. Ambrose Elvis Emoniruvwe, the Ward 3 Chairman on early hours of Tuesday visited another labour party stakeholder who is not any other person but Mr. Emmanuel Okorodudu, Delta Central Chairman of Labour Party in his residence in Warri.
In his brief remarks after the Senator- in- waiting was received by Mr Okorodudu and his teeming supporters among whom is the Delta Central Youth leader, Mr. Efe who were eagerly waiting for the team’s arrival, Evang. Dr. Ofomana who was flanked by Mr Praise Omoemu, his Executive Assistant delivered the reports on all the local government area Chairmen of Labour Party and the journey so far as 2024 runs off and 2025 is fast approaching.
He further told the Chairman and his team the reason for him wanting to occupy the enviable position come 2027.Among other things, he would create enabling environment for the speedy growth and development of the area. According to him, he would create job for the teeming youths roaming the streets and empower the widows, market women with money to boost their business, give scholarship to indigents children among others. Evang Dr. Ofomana told the Chairman how far he has gone in the race and expressed optimism that he would come victorious just as he promised not to betray the confidence that would be reposed on when he gets to Abuja.
Responding, the Labour Party Chairman, on behalf of others, thanked Senator –in- waiting for the visit and assured him of his support and that of people come 2027 Delta Central Senatorial District elections. His words:” From all what you have said and going by your pedigree, you would emerge victorious come 2027.” He therefore prayed God for his guidance, protection while the time flies in this regard.
Evang Dr. Ofomana and his team also paid visit to Chief Ayo Emojevwe in his residence in Kokori, Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state. On arrival, the host, Chief Ayo Emojevwe was told the purpose of his visit. Chief Emojevwe displayed the act of childhood friendship and school mates back in their primary school days in RCM Kokori.
Chief Emojevwe who knows much about the pedigree of Evang. Dr Ofomana offered prayers towards the success and actualization of Delta Central Senatorial district Red Chambers aspirant for 2027 just as he expressed optimism that time flies and encouraged him to be prayerful and maintain the temple as he(Chief Emojevwe) sees light at the end of the tunnel. Chief Emojevwe thanked God for his life and his entourage and urged them to keep the flag flying in this direction.
