Delta South Senatorial District Candidate under the platform of New Nigerian People’s Candidate in 2023 general election and Former National Deputy Director, Naval Intelligence, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama(Rtd) and his family have dedicated the Headquarters of Top-Private Security Services Nigeria Limited and Top-Private Training Academy to God Almighty.
Speaking to the press after Rev. Justin C. Okoroji Jnr, the Minister-in-Charge of First Baptist Church, GRA, Warri, dedicated the building to God Almighty, Commodore Nesiama expressed gratitude to God Almighty that enabled the family set up this edifice. According to him, before the company was established, the place was desolate and den of criminals and drugs dealers but today, it has been put to good use.
His words: For God to have enabled us transform this place, by extension, it is the entire community and the society at large, we thank Him, and we believe, having opened this place, God’s Hand is upon this place because more lives will be transformed. This Training Academy is more towards a professional certification in different professions”.
Commodore Nesiama said, Top Private Academy which is situated at 10 Odion Road, Warri, Delta State, offers many training skills will be in local and international. Among others, the Academy will offer Security, Health Safety And Environment, Entrepreneurship, Aviation and High Service, Maritime Training in line with high experience and reliable regulations.
According to Nesiama, the organization would also partner with some international bodies for the award of both National and International certificates as the organization has got some National Accreditations and it is expected to get more. He said, the facility also housed Bukka and Ember Dinning and Eatery that specializes on African and continental dishes with a standby generator to provide a- twenty- four(24)hour power for the comfort of its customers and staff.
The security expert said National Security is strategic- something deliberate not an Ad-Hoc, it is Presidential directive. His words: “There’s what we call the grand strategy and I know in the nation today, we have that. But the process of implementation can be faulted. If we can get that implementation of the grand strategy for National Development right, every other thing will fall in place.”
Commodore Nesiama said individuals, corporate in bodies, private security outfit and government security agency must collaborate to use grand strategy to guarantee National Security adding that, whatever happens now, calls for introspection from self to groups, States and Nation.
His words:”We’ve done a lot of workshops, most of which are just talk-shops because at the end of it all, they’re not implemented.”
On the road in the area, Commodore Nesiama said he has been able to speak to some people in the state government and government itself about the road to effect repairs and they have promised to something to remedy the situation.
According to him, the appeal became necessary as the organization has done a lot to complement government’s efforts as its corporate social responsibility as at present, the organization doesn’t have enough resources to do more. According to him, the repairs of the road becomes expedient as it would give room for efficient security system. Commodore Nesiama said, the newly established facility would go a long way to equip the youths with appropriate skills that would only make them leave the streets but shun crime and criminality and be useful to themselves in the society, as this would pave way for National Security. The security expert urged the Presidency to improve the economy to deal with the hunger in the country.
His words:” It’s not enough to talk. It’s to take action. The people are hungry. Let there be food It’s not by just giving them palliatives. Teach them how to fish and they will on their own sustain themselves and even sustain others.”
