A good community festival is done every year as it helps to bring the people having the same root together from far and near. The Amaseikumor festival in Oporoza Community in Warri South West Local Government Area, Delta State is not an exception as it has served and continues to serve as a unifying factor among the people. Like any other years, it started this year on 12th April and ended on the 17th April. While it is not possible to outline the activities that took place that made the festival worthwhile, it is good to delve into some of them. It was an atmosphere of joy as the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom had smiles radiating all over his face as he welcomed and exchanged pleasantries with the Ooni of Ife in the ceremony. The Ooni of Ife himself who is the Co-Chairman of Traditional Council of Nigeria also greeted other traditional rulers at the event.
