The National Democratic Party’s Candidate for Delta Central Senatorial Seat, Nathan Osume, on Sunday 14 June, received a warm reception when he visited Uvwiama community, Agbahro in continuation of his sensitisation tour, tagged: “Go Get Your PVC” across Delta Central communities.
Osume said he was undertaking the sensitisation tour to encourage the people of Delta Central Senatorial District to leverage the ongoing voter registration exercise to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) and participate actively in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
The Mereje born philanthropist and grassroots politician, Nathan Osume, while speaking to the good people of Uvwiama community, reiterated that those who do not have PVC would not be able to participate in the upcoming 2027 general elections to elect credible persons into public offices. He added that it is the civic responsibility of every Nigerian of voting age to participate in elections and promote good governance across board.

Speaking, one of the leaders of a Grassroots Movement in Uvwiama community, Mr. Ovie Aruwa commended Nathan Osume for his unwavering commitment to ensuring grassroots participation in government through voting in elections.Continuing, Mr. Ovie assured Osume of Uvwiama community’s support for his good intentions aimed at improving the well-being of the people through people-centred, transparent and accountable governance.
Osume, who was accompanied to Uvwiama community by the Vice Chairman of NDP, Hon. Bawa Idebi, and Hon. kingsley Abugewa, the party’s Candidate for House of Representatives, thanked the people of Uvwiama community for the warm reception given to him, describing it as a rare honour.

He expressed the compelling need for a collective action to drive socio-economic development of Delta Central at unprecedented scale. Nathan Osume’s growing popularity in Delta Central political sphere is largely driven by his image as a tested and trusted leader focused on integrity, accountability, and people-centered service.
As a prominent political figure of Urhobo stock, Osume is known for using his tech background to champion youth empowerment, gender justice, and economic reform to position Delta Central as a regional digital productivity hub and an economic behemoth.
