The Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party( PDP) Ewu Ward 3 in Ughelli South Local Government Area Delta State said, it has joined Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to deflect to All Progressive Party. The group made this known in a chat with newsmen. The group who is made up of Chief Dr. F. O. Aguonigho,( the foremost Ward Leader), Comr. Ogedegbe Efeson, Chairman of the Ward and Esegba Hezekiah, Secretary, said, they have to join hands with Governor to the ruling party because, he knows best.
The group said:” We, in Ewu Ward 3 of PDP in Ughelli South Local Government Area state categorically state here that, we have joined our admirable Governor, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to move to APC. He is our leader, he knows better than us”
According to them, for Governor to have moved to APC, it is an indication that there are better things ahead for the benefit of the state. They said , it is now that Delta State would benefit more from the Federal Government as this would give opportunity to the Governor to work directly with His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu to work to bring more infrastructural developments to the state as mapped in his the More Agenda.
The group thanked Governor Oborevwori to have taken the courage to deflect as this is a spring board to achieve more in the state. According to him, the group would continue to work with the Governor on his mandate to explore more ways to better the lots of Deltans. They said: “Our admirable Governor, we, Ewu Ward 3 in Ughelli South Local Government Area are solidly behind in your the More Agenda in the state.”
