Former Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Samuel Macaulay , the Okiroro of Isoko Nation has admonished Christians especially in Nigeria to harp on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ to preach peace just as he charged them to commit themselves to God both in practice and prayers.
The former SSG who made this known in his Easter message, congratulated Christians for the successful forty-day length season for the atonement of sins and salvation of mankind, which Easter stands for.
According to him, Easter is hallmark of Christianity adding, the celebration of Christ’s resurrection and salvation offers Nigerians a great opportunity to come closer to God and promote all virtues that would enhance peace, love, unity and progress of the country.
Comrade (Chief ) Macaulay. therefore wished Deltans in particular and Nigerians in general a spiritually rewarding Easter’s celebration just as he urged them to reflect soberly and intensify prayers for God’s intervention and abiding grace for the country.
