The Chairman, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL),High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation said the organization would continue to partner with Nigerian Petroleum Company Limited(NNPC) which its new Management Board is led by Group Executive Officer(GCEO), Engr.Bashir Bayo Ojuolari and Chaired by Ahmadu Musa Kida and others.
High Chief Tompolo stated in a press statement which he personally signed in his congratulatory message to the newly appointed Management Board members. While expressing gratitude to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu for his visionary leadership and commitment to excellence which he shown by a careful selection of seasoned professional to pilot the affairs of the organization at this critical time, he expressed confidence that these crop of persons that constitute Board would meet the expectations of Nigerians as regards performance.
His words:” We express our profound gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his visionary leadership and commitment to excellence, as demonstrated by the careful selection of seasoned professionals to steer the affairs of the NNPCL at this critical time. Indeed, this decision by Mr. President underscores his administration’s dedication to ensuring that only competent hands are entrusted with optimising the vast benefits of our nation’s oil and gas sector”.
According to Tompolo, the challenges and opportunities before this new Management and Board are immense but expressed confidence in the Board members’ ability to drive the ongoing restructuring of the NNPCL to greater heights. His words:”Under their stewardship, we believe that the President’s mandate to ramp up local refining capacity and increase Nigeria’s crude oil production to 2mbpd in record time will be realised and surpassed”.
The Chairman, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited said, as the organization’s usual practices, the company’s expertise in oil asset protection and its deep-rooted presence in the Niger Delta, positions the organization as a reliable ally in ensuring that the nation’s resources are safeguarded and utilised efficiently for the collective benefit of all stakeholders.
According to him, as critical player in the security of Nigeria’s oil and gas assets, the organization is determined to support and collaborate with the new leadership of NNPC and contribute its quota to a more secured and prosperous energy sector that benefits the entire nation and aligns with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
High Chief Tompolo said the expectations of Nigerians are high, but with their(Board members) proven expertise, dedication and support of all critical stakeholders, the organization is confident that they(newly Board members) will lead NNPCL towards a new era of growth and efficiency and therefore congratulated the entire Management and Board and wish them a successful and impactful tenure.
