The Executive members of Post Graduate Students Association of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State has congratulated the new Vice Chancellor, Elect, Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Delta State, Prof. Ezekiel Ogheneyerhovwo Agbalagba.
In a press statement signed by the President, Post Graduate Students Association of the institution, Comrade Henry Akpovona Onoseraye and the Secretary, Comrade Abiola A. Sanuth, the body expressed joy for the appointment of the new VC, Prof Agbalagba.
According to the group, it is an appointment well deserved going by the track records of Prof. Agbalagba. The body said, his appointment is good one as it is like putting a square peg in a square hole. The body said, the VC is not only known to be dedicated to his duties but he is disciplined and forthright.
Part of the statement reads:” We wish to congratulate our new Vice Chancellor, Elect the person of Prof. Ezekiel Ogheneyerhovwo Agbalagba for his new appointment. We were not surprised to hear that he has emerged as the VC because, he deserves it. We know, he would do very well because it is like putting a square peg in a square hole”.
The association therefore wishes Prof. Agbalagba wisdom, strength and good health to pilot the affairs of the University just it wishes him God’s protection to pilot the affairs of the University to an enviable height.
