Whoever is done good will appreciate if such good is valued. The appreciation of such good is an application for more. This is why, it is those who appreciate of good done to them are the ones who get more. The appointment of Senator Joel-Onowakpo, Senator representing Delta South Senate as Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content recently through the efforts of His Excellency Bola Tinubu, President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, the Deputy President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Barau Jibrin CFR, the Senate Majority Leader, His Excellency, Senator Michael Bamidele Opeyemi CON, and the entire Senate leadership did not come as a surprise to many because he deserves it. By all ramifications, the Presidency is much aware that Senator Joel-Onowakpo is up to the task hence the appointment.
On his part, Senator Joel-Onowakpo has promised to work tirelessly towards the promotion of Local Content Policies that would drive economic growth, empower Nigerians, and enhance national development and deliver the assignment with utmost integrity. Senator Joel-Onowakpo displayed his readiness and overwhelming state in the statement signed himself and made available to newsmen after he was given this mandate.

Senator Joel-Onowakpo has always proved his worth by standing by his electioneering campaigns promises and has continued to do what befits his people. On his appointment, he did not fail to thank his constituent which he represents in the Senate for their unwavering supports since his election just as he promised to always to do his best to ensure he puts smiles on the faces of the people. With his appointment, he, again, as usual, called on Nigerians to support Bola Tinubu led government to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people- all for over all growth and development of the country, Nigeria.
