Former Delta State Attorney- General and Commissioner for Justice, Chief Andrew Ogheneaga Orugbo has commended the State Governor,Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the quality of infrastructural projects across the state. Chief Orugbo who is one of the reputable leaders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Udu Local Government Area made the commendation in an interview with the Bailout Magazine in Warri, Delta State. He said, the speed at which the Delta State Governor is changing the face of infrastructures in the State is a testimony to the dictates of the 2023 electioneering campaigns of the Governor.
Chief Orugbo, a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs said: “Nigerians can see and testify to the quality of jobs the Governor is carrying out in the State”. Chief Orugbo emphasized that, the just concluded hitch-free National Youths Athletic Festival hosted by the Governor and the facelift given to the Main bowl of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, in Asaba is a testimony that he meant well for the state. The Legal luminary therefore assured Deltans of more dividends of democracy in accordance with the Governor’s M.O.R.E Agenda. .
On the return of peace to the Okuama Ewu, Ughelli South LGA and its neighbouring Okoloba Community in Bomadi LGA, Chief Orugbo said it is a feat that deserves commendation. His words: “Who would ever thought that peace would return to these communities, going by the level destruction of lives and property in these areas?”. He said, the Governor is indeed a caring one who would not want anything that will hinder the socio-economic and environment waste in the state.
On the role Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP) in the championing good governance and administration in the state, Chief Orugbo maintained that, the Oborevwori`s tenure has ushered into Delta State ample opportunities for every one to grow in lips and bound.
The former Udu Local Government Council boss urged Deltans across political divide to rally round Rt. Hon. Francis Sheriff Oborevwori to enable him complete the people’s oriented programmes and projects he has commenced.
