Senator Seriake Dickson, Senator representing Bayelsa West wants President Bola Tinubu and the NNPC to expand the scope of work in Tantita. Dickson made this known in a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty Oboro- Gbaraun the second, Aketepe Agadagba, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, recently.
The lawmaker said this will enable the Tantita’s boss and his team to increase the protection of the national assets within the environment as always.
While he thanked the Federal Government, the NNPC for engaging High Chief Government Ekpemupolo for the surveillance contract, he described the Tantita Boss as a man who understands the environment and systems of the job. He also thanked him for his continuous contributions to reduce illegal refining of crude resources and oil theft as this shows his rich understanding of the terrain. The Former Governor of Bayelsa State also thanked the King and his Council of Chiefs for maintaining order, peace and stability in the kingdom which according to him, is a strategic part of the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
In a remark, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom thanked Senator Dickson and his delegation for the visit stressing that a visit of this sort is important in building cordiality between the Ijaw people of Niger Delta.
