President Bola Tinubu should pin-point the aspect of the economy he is improving as he claims. No sign, no effort by Tinubu to improve on the economy as the country is witnessing hardship and increasing inflation. Fuel prices are rising unrestrained. A bag of rice is 80k. The dollar is about $1,500. I don’t really see or notice what is improving in the economy that Tinubu is boasting of.
Power supply is near zero. Public hospitals are mere dispensaries. Almost all the federal roads are bad. Factories are closing down due to high cost of production. Unemployment is increasing. Youths are ‘japaring’. Investors are divesting and reinvesting in neighbouring African countries they consider safe for business.
Insecurity is high. Robberies, kidnappings and killings are unrestrained. Confusion everywhere. Education is poorly funded. Tinubu should tell Nigerians what exactly is improving in the economy. Every week Tinubu gives employments to party loyalists and hangers-on.The National Assembly is busy with change of National Anthem as if it will put food on the table of the common man, and as if change of National Anthem is the major problem of Nigeria.
The poor are getting poorer while politicians are getting richer at the detriment of the common man. Grabbing political offices is becoming the most lucrative business in Nigeria and then followed by Pastors and Imams. Nigeria is still shamefully importing fuels.
