Acceptable Christian Church 15 Skinn Road, Warri in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State today, Sunday, Flagged off God’s ordained Annual Feast of Tabernacles.
Delivering a sermon titled: “If You Fear God, You Will Hate And Run Away From Evil, You Will Not Serve Other God, You Will Not Commit Adultery Or Fornication, You Will Not Lie Or Defraud, You Will Not Backbite Or Be A Talebearer, You Will Not Kill”, Brother Edwin Koloh admonished Christians and Non -Christians all over the world to worship God in truth and righteousness and shun all forms of evils to have eternal salvation.
According to him, if one fears God, one will distant oneself from all forms of evils. He said, an evil is anything, action or condition that does not give room for righteousness. According to him evils such as fornication or adultery, backbiting, killing of someone, serving other gods other than God Almighty,among others do not edify God.
His words:” whoever commits fornication or adultery, tells lies, back bites, kills his neighbour and all forms of evils does not fear God”.
Brother Edwin Koloh who quoted many Scriptures from the Holy Bible among which are Proverb 8:13, 16:6, 1st John 3:15, Exodus 20: 13, among others, admonished man to flee evils to have eternal salvation.
Earlier in his address, the Pastor of the Church, Pastor David .O. Amanoristewo charged Christians to always celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles to obtain God’s blessings. According to him, it is God’s ordained feast that God commanded that should be celebrated to have His abundant blessings.
The programme which saw Church’s members peaceful procession at about 8-9:30 am from Acceptable Christian Church Worship Centre 15 Skinn, Road to Pessu Street,Wiliki Street, Odion Road, Itsekiri Road by Daudu Police Station and back to ACC worship Centre will continue in Open Space on Ijaw Street by Victory Avenue, Off Odion Road, Off Cemetery Road, Daudu, Warri, and will be rounded off on Sunday, 17th December, 2023 to the glory of God.
