The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has charged Christians who are yet to know Jesus Christ fully to surrender their life and experience new dawn just as he charged those who have backslidden to retrace their steps to Jesus Christ to have eternal life. Pastor Enoch Adeboye stated this Monday when delivering a sermon at the Word of Life Bible Church International Gospel Centre, Ajamimogha, in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State as Papa Ayo Oritsejafor marked his fifty years in the Ministry. Pastor Adeboye who declared peace upon the congregation said, if one fails to repent and know God, one is in the darkness. Dwelling on the sermon titled: The Power, Glory And The Release of Jubilee, Pastor Adeboye said any challenge(s) one faces in life, once God steps in, the challenges are over adding, it is God that created jubilee . He said when God said, let there be jubilee, nobody can stop it adding, He has the power to declare something and it comes to pass. He said:”whatever challenges you face in life, sickness, poverty, bareness, etc, once jubilee steps in, your shame turns to glory”
Quoting Act of Apostles, 3:1-8, 12:5, Psalm 33:8-9, Genesis 1:3 and Proverb 3: 25 among others from the Holy Scriptures to buttress his message, he said whatever situation one faces in life, one should remember God. He therefore charged Christians not to give up with prayers especially when they face any challenge(s) as their captivity would be turn to freedom. He said:” Whatever situation you are facing in life, remember God and He will deliver you”. Pastor Adeboye charged the congregation to pray for themselves just as he prayed for them saying, if they believe, their prayers are answered. He said:”I have His power and authority and the with authority vested on me, I pray for you today that God shall return you to your lost possessions”. The programme which witnessed the presence of many men of God and traditional rulers including His Royal Majesty, Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, climaxed with different cultural dances, songs ministrations, prayers, among others to the glory of God.
