As time ticks gradually to 2027, Evang. Dr.Austin Ofomana , Delta Central Senatorial district aspirant under the platform of Labour Party has promised to put smiles on the people’s faces when voted into power.
Evang. Dr. Ofomana disclosed this today, Thursday when addressing teeming supporters who welcomed him along with his team to the residence of Chief Samson Orkeh a retired medical personnel based in the United States of America. According to Evang Dr Ofomana whose consultation team was led by Mr. Ambrose Elvis Emoniruvwe, the Ward 3 Chairman, Mr Daniel Ekpejuku(the Speaker of Labour Party in ward 3 said, when he is voted into office, he would ensure that he engages the youths in the Constituency especially those who were not opportune to be educated to the university levels. with different skills acquisition Programmes.
According to him, he would set up education foundation which would cater for education needs of the indigents in the Constituency. He said, this programme would take care of children from the primary to the secondary level.
His words:”As l have said, l am not here to deceive you. I would not be saying what I am not capable of doing. By the grace of God, l would establish education foundation where all children will be given scholarship from primary level to the university levels”
Evang Dr Ofomana who had Mr Praise Omoemu the Executive Assistant, Mr Godwin the Labour Party youth leader of Ward 3 in Oria-Abraka in his entourage said, as soon as he gets to office, he would hold stakeholders’ meetings and plan the best way to move the Constituency to the next level. The Senator in- waiting said, the people would not regret for electing him.His words:” Lest l bore you with many words.l have mapped out what l intend to do for the good of my people if given the mandate”.
In his response on behalf of others, Chief Samson Orkeh man known to always match his words with action, a highly reserved man, expressed gratitude for Evang. Dr. Ofomana and his team for the visit. He said, they have been waiting for likes of Evang. Dr. Ofomana to occupy this position all along but thanked God that he has finally showed interest to contest the exalted position. He said with the likes of Evang Dr. Ofomana, the people would get the dividends of democracy. He therefore assured him of success come 2027 Senatorial election.
In his words:” l encourage you to be focused on your vision and mandate to enable you actualize it. We pledge to always give you ear and monitor the political activities to ensure we assist you towards the actualization of your ambition”.
The highlight of the visit was the prayers given to Evang. Dr. Ofomana who many said, his ambition is divinely approved red chambers figure is for God to bless, protest and give him sense of direction while he pursues his Senatorial ambition.
